Gone Guelph is Jenny’s Mitchell’s artistic celebration of old Guelph places that are no longer with us, in the form of silkscreened t-shirts, prints, mugs, and beer steins. Jenny started this project in 2016, and there are now over fifty designs between the original series, bonus images, and her artist-in-residence series ”Golden Guelph”.
You can see the main series at the Gone Guelph Gallery
All the designs are hand drawn/traced by Jenny and screened by her at her home in Guelph. She grew up in (and still lives in) downtown Guelph, and she started this project in an attempt to celebrate with everyone the legacy of this town she loves, and acknowledge the spaces no longer with us, that have shaped the city of Guelph as we know it now.
