Bridging the Social Distance is a radio show and podcast hosted by Jenny Mitchell, through her job as Mobile Studio Coordinator for CFRU, Guelph’s campus and community radio station and media centre.  Since the show’s origin in March of 2020 there have been over 200 episodes, including interviews with local seniors, community advocates, and people from around the world.  It originally formed in response to the immediate isolation created by the Covid pandemic in March of 2020, but it has continued in the time since, acting as a community archive of a world since covid.  You can subscribe to the blog and podcast at bridgingthesocialdistance.com, or listen on the radio most Tuesdays and Thursdays at noon on CFRU 93.3fm, online at cfru.ca
